Finishing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all finishing works including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, polishing, false ceiling, joinery, and faade works.
• Ensure all finishing activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain quality control.
• Identify and resolve site issues related to finishing works.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at site.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project timelines.
• Review and verify contractor bills related to finishing work.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and consultants for execution of finishing details.
• Ensure proper material planning, usage, and wastage control.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
