What would you do You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.Own and support month end and quarter end close for PL and Balance Sheet, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations in strict adherence to policies, procedures, and controllership standards; ensure timely resolution of open itemsReview and approve journal entries in compliance with US GAAP and company financial policiesPerform PL and Balance Sheet trend analysis to identify accrual gaps, mis codings, unusual movements, or risks prior to closePartner closely with business teams on revenue, expense, and commission recognition mattersCoordinate with Group Controllers, Sub ledger teams, Tax, and other global stakeholders to resolve accounting issuesDesign and implementation of tools and processes which enable the client to perform financial analysis of its statements. Involves the ability to assess materiality and volatility of financial statement line items and key metrics utilizing financial ratios to determine the financial health of the company.
What are we looking for Lead and embed strong controllership practices, including review mechanisms, issue tracking, and process controlsGuide and mentor team members; oversee BAU reviews, address queries, and ensure quality deliverablesSupport SOX compliance, internal audits, and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and responsesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics packs for management and stakeholdersIdentify and drive process improvements, automation, and change initiatives aligned to business and controllership needsSupport management with special projects, transitions, or remediation initiatives as requiredStrong knowledge of Revenue Accounting and GL AccountingSolid understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and close governanceStrong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detailAbility to independently resolve issues with minimal supervisionEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience in process improvement and change managementStrong reporting and financial analysis capabilitiesAdvanced MS Excel skills
