Financial Controller

As Finance Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring robust financial control, reliable reporting, and compliance across entities and finance activities within scope in India. You will drive high-quality closing and reporting processes, strengthen balance sheet governance, manage complex accounting matters, and support audits, statutory requirements, and

internal control activities.

You will work closely with colleagues across Regional Finance, Group Finance, tax, treasury, business finance, and shared services, and you will play a key role in ensuring that finance processes are executed with accuracy, transparency, and discipline.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving close and reporting activities across month-end, quarter-end, and year-end

cycles

• Reviewing accounting entries, accruals, provisions, estimates, and reconciliations
• Ensuring strong balance sheet oversight and resolution of control or accounting issues
• Managing statutory reporting support and audit readiness
• Handling complex and non-routine accounting matters
• Driving financial control improvements and remediation of identified risks or gaps
• Strengthening governance, documentation, and process quality
• Supporting finance transformation, standardization, and automation initiatives
• Providing finance leadership and guidance across stakeholders and processes

What youll bring

You have extensive ex

perience from accounting, reporting, controlling, or audit roles and a strong foundation in financial governance and compliance. You are comfortable taking ownership in a complex environment and can balance operational delivery with control, challenge, and continuous improvement.

You bring:

• A bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
• 1014 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, controlling,

audit, or regional finance

• Solid understanding of financial accounting, controllership, reporting processes,

balance sheet governance, and financial close management

• Strong knowledge of Indian statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements

relevant to accounting and finance operations

• Experience working in a multinational organization, matrix environment, regional

finance setup, or shared services model

• Strong capability in handling complex accounting topics, assessing risks, and

applying sound professional judgment

• Proven experience with internal controls, audit coordination, compliance

frameworks, and governance requirements

• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting, cross-functional dependencies,

and regional/global reporting interactions

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar, and strong proficiency

in Excel and financial reporting tools

• Ability to work with large data sets, multiple reporting requirements, and tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across different functions, levels, and geographies
• A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability
• Experience driving process improvements, simplification, and automation in

finance processes

It would be an advantage if you also have:

• A professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent

• Experience supporting entity-level finance ownership or legal entity controllership • Familiarity with IFRS and local statutory reporting frameworks

• Experience in system implementations, finance transformation, or operating model

changes

• Leadership experience, either through direct people management or functional

leadership across teams and processes
