We are hiring a Financial Controllership professional for a fast-growing Fintech startup based in Gurgaon.

About the Company:
A technology-driven financial services company operating in the digital lending / home-financing space, helping customers access financing through a tech-enabled platform. The company is in a growth phase and offers an opportunity to work closely with senior finance leadership.

Role: Financial Controllership

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end financial controllership and accounting activities.
• Drive month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and management reporting.
• Handle statutory audit, internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Work on Ind AS / accounting standards and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
• Partner with business teams on financial analysis and accounting matters.
• Strengthen finance processes, controls and reporting systems as the business scales.
• Support senior management with financial insights and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• CA qualification preferred/mandatory as per role requirement.
• Strong experience in Financial Controllership / Financial Reporting / Accounting.
• Fintech startup experience is mandatory.
• Candidates must have prior or current experience working with a Fintech startup.
• Experience in digital lending, NBFC, payments or financial services fintech would be relevant.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits and internal controls.
• Candidates with short notice period / immediate availability will be preferred.

• 2 days Work from Home per month as per company policy
