Financial Controller - Family Office - BFSI - CA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join a prestigious Family Office managing a diversified group with an AUM of 40,000 Crore. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the financial backbone of the organization, overseeing the entire spectrum of financial operations, investment accounting, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with the Promoters and the Board to provide strategic financial insights, ensuring the preservation and growth of family wealth. Your contribution will directly influence the group's capital allocation decisions, tax efficiency, and long-term financial health, operating from our corporate headquarters in Delhi NCR.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end finalization of books of accounts for multiple group entities and investment vehicles to ensure absolute accuracy and compliance with statutory standards.

- Oversee comprehensive financial reporting, providing the leadership team with detailed dashboards on liquidity, cash flow, and investment performance.

- Manage complex taxation matters, including direct and indirect tax planning, to optimize the group's tax footprint while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory filings.

- Direct family office operations by streamlining administrative and financial workflows to ensure seamless coordination between investment teams and external stakeholders.

- Monitor portfolio management activities, tracking asset performance across diverse classes to provide actionable insights for wealth preservation and risk mitigation.

- Collaborate with auditors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies to maintain high standards of corporate governance and financial transparency across the group.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial structures and multi-entity accounting within a large-scale family office or high-net-worth investment environment.

- Proven ability to navigate intricate tax landscapes and regulatory frameworks, ensuring the group remains compliant while maximizing fiscal efficiency.

- Exceptional analytical acumen with the ability to synthesize large volumes of financial data into strategic narratives for senior stakeholders and promoters.

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with internal family members, external advisors, and high-level banking partners.

- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential, complemented by a track record of leading high-performing finance teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Delhi NCR, maintaining high levels of discretion, integrity, and professional maturity required for a family office setting.

- Minimum 13 - 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with a specific focus on investment accounting and group-level financial control.
