Financial Analyst

Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing reports, supporting loan compliance activities, building financial models, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and US-based counterparts to provide timely financial insights, maintain accurate reporting, and support business decision-making. The Financial Analyst evaluates financial performance, tracks KPIs such as cash flow and business value metrics, and performs variance and ad-hoc analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within established timelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
o Analyze financial performance and operating results
o Review income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
o Validate accuracy and completeness of financial information
o Prepare management reporting packages
o Perform trend and ratio analysis
o Generate KPI calculations and supporting analyses
Budgeting & Forecasting
o Support annual budgeting process for properties and business units
o Assist with rolling forecasts and financial projections
o Gather assumptions and inputs from operational teams
o Consolidate budget submissions and supporting schedules
o Monitor actual results against forecasts and budgets
o Recommend corrective actions based on performance variances
Financial Modeling
o Build and maintain financial models
o Develop cash flow forecasting models
o Analyze business valuation and profitability scenarios
o Update assumptions and sensitivity analyses
o Maintain standardized financial modeling templates
Loan Compliance & Reporting
o Prepare lender reporting and compliance schedules
o Track loan covenant requirements and deadlines
o Validate supporting documentation for compliance submissions
o Coordinate with accounting and operations teams for required information
o Maintain records of loan-related reporting obligations
Business Partnership & Communication
o Collaborate regularly with US counterparts
o Participate in finance and operational meetings
o Respond to internal and external reporting requests
o Support senior management with ad-hoc analyses
o Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
Data Management & Quality Control
o Review financial data for consistency and accuracy
o Reconcile reporting discrepancies
o Maintain organized financial documentation
o Support audit and compliance activities
o improve reporting processes and templates

Knowledge & Education
-Master s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related field preferred or CA inter/CMA inter preferred
-2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, accounting, or related roles
-Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required
-Experience working with financial reporting or ERP systems preferred
-Additional exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or loan compliance reporting is an advantage
-Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills
-Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and advanced formulas
-Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams
-Comfortable working with large data sets and reporting tools
-Self-motivated and capable of working independently
-Adaptable and willing to learn new systems and processes
