Job Description:

Horizen is seeking an experienced Financial advisor to serve as Principal Officer for its AI/ML-powered investment advisory platform. The candidate will lead investment research, portfolio analysis, quantitative model oversight, and regulatory compliance in accordance with applicable SEBI Investment Adviser (IA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in investment research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk assessment.
• Oversee AI/ML-driven investment advisory models, portfolio recommendations, backtesting, and risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI IA regulations, client risk profiling, suitability assessments, disclosures, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain investment advisory policies, SOPs, audit trails, and regulatory records.
• Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and portfolio performance.
• Coordinate with technology teams to ensure transparent, explainable, and compliant automated investment recommendations.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent qualification meeting applicable SEBI requirements.
• Valid NISM Series X-A and X-B certifications are mandatory. Candidates without both valid certifications will not be considered.
• Relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, wealth management, or investment advisory.
• Strong understanding of financial markets.

Preferred Experience: Experience with SEBI-registered Investment Advisers, fintech companies, or algorithm-driven investment platforms.
