Job Description:
Designation: Administrative Assistant – Accounts Receivable Reporting To: Process Operations Supervisor Location: Pune Role Overview The Cash Application Executive is responsible for accurately applying customer payments to the appropriate accounts in a timely manner. This role ensures proper allocation of funds, reconciliation of accounts, and resolution of discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities · Process and apply customer payments (checks, wire transfers, ACH, credit cards) to the correct customer accounts · Ensure timely and accurate posting of receipts in the accounting system · Reconcile unapplied cash and resolve discrepancies · Identify and investigate payment variances, including short payments, overpayments, and deductions · Coordinate with internal teams (Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections) for payment clarification · Maintain and update customer account records · Handle refunds, adjustments, and write-offs as required · Monitor aging reports and ensure proper allocation of cash · Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash application reports Employee Skill Requirements · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong interpersonal skills · Analytical and problem-solving abilities · Advanced reasoning and research skills · Decision-making capability · Good typing speed for data entry · Customer-focused approach Prerequisites · Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Finance & Accounting preferred) · Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines · Proven track record of excellent attendance · Self-driven and proactive attitude · Influence and persuasion skills · Strong customer orientation and understanding of service-related issues · Proficiency in MS Office Educational Qualifications · B.Com · M.Com · MBA (Finance) · PGDBM Industry Type Courier / Transportation / Freight / Warehousing / Finance & Accounting Role: Functional Area: ITES, BPO, KPO, Customer Service, Operations
