Finance Trainee

Position: Finance Apprentice Revenue Recognition
Duration: 12 Months (Apprenticeship)
Location: Vadodara

Role Overview

The Finance Apprentice will support the Revenue Recognition team in day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while gaining practical exposure to revenue accounting and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in revenue recognition activities in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP).
• Support contract reviews, revenue reconciliations, and accounting for deferred revenue and adjustments.
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation of schedules and reconciliations.
• Support preparation of financial reports and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, Operations, and Billing to resolve revenue-related queries.
• Help maintain accounting documentation, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Participate in process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.

Required Skills

• MBA (Finance)/ M.Com/ B.Com
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and revenue recognition concepts.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
