Why this job is important

You’ll be part of an integrated finance function delivering specialist operational finance services across regions. Reporting to the Systems Lead, you’ll help keep our finance systems running effectively, with a particular focus on Maconomy. Your work will support colleagues using our finance systems, strengthen controls and help improve the way our finance processes operate. You’ll collaborate with teams across regions, combining finance knowledge with systems expertise to solve problems and improve the user experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Support finance systems, with a particular focus on Maconomy, helping colleagues resolve issues and use the systems effectively.
• Manage system access and technical queries while supporting relevant audit and control requirements.
• Support key finance activities, including month-end close, journal entries and system updates.
• Collaborate with teams across regions to align workflows, resolve system and process challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create clear documentation, deliver user training and share knowledge to strengthen finance systems capability.

The ideal skills & experience

• Relevant education or equivalent experience in information systems, management, finance or a related area.
• Experience supporting finance or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Experience with Maconomy would be an advantage.
• A good understanding of accounting principles and the technology that supports core finance processes.
• Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to different audiences.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills, with the ability to work autonomously with support and collaborate across geographic time zones when business needs require it.
