Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Financial Operations Center of Excellence, this individual will work with Operations Business Partners (OBPs), the Operations Leader, and Enterprise functions to deliver reliable reporting, practical recommendations, disciplined process execution, and scalable improvements. The Senior Associate will independently lead recurring workstreams, guide Analysts, and help maintain the quality, consistency, and timeliness of CoE deliverables.

    Job Description

    • Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities by preparing accurate, timely financial information; completing assigned close deliverables; and resolving issues in accordance with established timelines and controls.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting through financial analysis, modeling, along with ongoing enhancement of the tools and methodologies used in the planning process.
    • Own assigned components of the Digital Operations financial management cadence by coordinating recurring cycles, preparing leadership materials, and ensuring required analyses and deliverables are completed on schedule.
    • Perform and review financial integrity activities including EAC/ETC reviews, reserves, accruals, revenue accuracy, contract compliance, and related controls to maintain reliable financial data and key business metrics.
    • Support sales analytics and backlog governance through standard reporting, predictive & trend analyses, pipeline & backlog reviews, and sales credit & commission tracking to improve visibility into sales performance and future demand.
    • Translate financial and operational reporting into recommendations for Digital Operations leadership and Operations Business Partners, then coordinate follow-up actions that support business objectives.
    • Maintain a trusted source of truth for Digital Operations by establishing data quality standards, governance routines, and consistent information-management practices across the organization.
    • Support Data Steward activities related to cost center structures, business unit frameworks, project hierarchies, offering and taxonomy alignment, worker mapping, and annual organizational updates.
    • Identify, evaluate, and support automation and AI opportunities that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of team processes, reporting, and decision-making.
    • Build trusted relationships across the organization to align priorities, resolve cross-functional challenges, and advance agreed operational and financial outcomes.
    • Create, maintain, and continuously improve standard operating procedures, playbooks, job aids, runbooks, and related documentation to strengthen consistency, scalability, knowledge sharing, and operational effectiveness across Digital Operations.
    • Lead assigned process transitions and knowledge transfers by assessing current-state workflows, controls, dependencies, decision points, risks, and escalation paths before defining and implementing a clear path to future-state ownership.
    • Perform targeted ad hoc financial and operational analysis to address emerging business questions, investigate variances or exceptions, and support time-sensitive decisions outside the recurring reporting cadence.
    • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for Finance Operations Analysts through day-to-day guidance, best-practice sharing, onboarding support, and development.
    • Review Analyst deliverables for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to defined standards. Resolve issues within established processes; escalate material risks, capacity constraints, or unresolved questions to the Senior Manager.
    • Manage priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and handoffs across assigned Analyst workstreams to promote accountability, collaboration, and disciplined follow-through across CoE deliverables.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
    • Four to seven years in finance, FP&A, business operations, consulting operations, a project management office, or a related field, including demonstrated ownership of workstreams and complex deliverables.
    • Experience within the consulting or professional services industry preferred.
    • Demonstrated FP&A judgment across financial results, forecasts, key performance metrics, month-end or quarter-end close, financial integrity reviews, backlog or pipeline reporting, and utilization or margin analysis, with the ability to connect findings to business decisions.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and client service skills, with the ability to define underlying business needs, manage competing priorities, adapt to evolving requirements, and navigate ambiguity with limited guidance.
    • Ability to communicate complex financial and operational information clearly across all levels of the organization, tailor messages to different audiences, and build alignment around decisions and next steps. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
    • Demonstrated ability to translate recurring process challenges into practical improvements that increase efficiency, control, and scalability.
    • Proven success establishing and sustaining practical documentation standards and knowledge-management practices for SOPs, playbooks, job aids, and runbooks.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Salesforce; including familiarity with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools, including the ability to develop, maintain, interpret, or quality-review dashboards and reports.
    • Familiarity with data governance, data stewardship, organizational hierarchies, taxonomy, and reporting quality practices preferred.
    • Familiarity with AI-enabled technologies and productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or comparable solutions, and the ability to apply them responsibly to improve reporting, analysis, documentation, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
