Finance Officer

Responsibilities

• SPOC & Business Support: Be the single point of contact between business teams and Shared Services for invoice, payment, collection and master data queries. Log, track and escalate requests; ensure resolution within agreed timelines. Share transaction status, account statements and ageing with business teams. Guide users on PO/GRN and invoice requirements to reduce rework.
• Accounts Payable: Verify vendor invoices against POs and GRNs and process them for payment. Ensure timely vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements. Ensure correct TDS/GST treatment on invoices.
• Accounts Receivable: Raise invoices and credit/debit notes accurately and on time. Monitor receivables ageing and follow up on collections. Perform cash application and customer ledger reconciliations.
• Master Data Management: Validate master data records (customer, vendor, GL and cost centre) and share with the Finance team for record creation.
• Invoice & Payment Validation: Validate goods and services PO, invoice and payment details for timely invoice processing. Support the team in resolving payment-related queries in a timely manner.
• Distributor Claims: Support distributor claims management and queries.
• Systems & MIS: Support the Finance Manager with data entry in SAP and Excel. Prepare MIS reports: ageing, DSO/DPO trends and outstanding and payment forecasts. Support month-end closing and audits with schedules and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience, CA Inter preferred.
• Work Experience: 2-4 years.
