Finance- MIS & Analytics

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, trackers, dashboards, and analytical models.
• Work with large datasets and perform data cleaning, consolidation, reconciliation, and validation.
• Automate and streamline existing reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Build dashboards and visual reports using Tableau and/or other BI tools.
• Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from databases, wherever required.
• Support the Finance team with data-driven reports for business requirements.
• Prepare variance analysis, trend analysis, performance reports, and other analytical reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing MIS/reporting processes and enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, and other internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all reports and dashboards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent MS Excel skills with strong knowledge of Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX-MATCH, charts, and dashboards.
• Knowledge of Advanced Excel, Power Query, VBA/Macros is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to handle large datasets and ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Experience in Finance MIS, Financial/Business Analytics, FP&A, or Management Reporting preferred.
• Experience in dashboard creation, reporting automation, and process improvement is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
