Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will serve as a temporary backfill for the Accounting Manager role and will be responsible for overseeing core accounting and financial reporting activities. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards and prior experience in a listed manufacturing organization to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS, as applicable).
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
- Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and financial governance frameworks.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Handle reporting requirements for a listed entity, including disclosures and regulatory submissions where applicable.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, and business units) to ensure accurate financial data capture.
Qualifications and Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Prior experience in a listed manufacturing company is mandatory/preferred (depending on client flexibility).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
- Experience in handling audits, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
