Finance Manager

We're hiring: Finance Manager | Bengaluru (In-office) | Full-time

India's power-hungry mid-market is stuck in the dark ages. Our client is fixing that: a tech-led energy retailer delivering 24x7 best-priced clean energy to Commercial & Industrial businesses, by orchestrating solar, wind and battery storage through proprietary software.

They're looking for a CA with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience to build and lead the finance function from scratch, reporting directly to the founders.

What you'll own

• Monthly, quarterly and annual close, with Indian GAAP financial statements and strong internal controls
• Direct and indirect tax (GST, TDS, Income Tax), plus statutory, tax and internal audits
• Treasury, working capital, cash flow forecasting and banking relationships
• FP&A: budgets, rolling forecasts, scenario models and monthly MIS
• Unit economics for new projects, AR and contract closures with business teams
• Fundraising support, investor reporting and due diligence
• SOPs, ERP adoption and AI-led automation across billing, reconciliation and revenue recognition

What you bring

• CA (mandatory), ideally with high-growth startup experience
• Proven track record raising working capital and term debt from banks, end to end
• Strong Indian taxation, audit and financial modelling skills
• Extreme ownership and a preference for building over maintaining

Bonus: experience setting up finance systems from scratch, investor reporting or fund management, or C&I energy/infrastructure exposure
