Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance Manager Financial Reporting & Consolidation to manage financial reporting, month-end closing and consolidation activities for MakeO / Toothsi and its group companies. The role will work closely with the Finance leadership team, auditors and finance teams across group entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.
• Manage consolidation of financial statements for group companies and subsidiaries.
• Prepare consolidation workings, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
• Review intercompany balances, loans, receivables, payables, income and expenses.
• Coordinate with finance teams of group entities for timely reporting and reconciliation.
• Prepare management reporting and financial schedules for senior management.
• Manage statutory, internal and other financial audits.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
• Review provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and other balance sheet schedules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and strengthen financial controls.
• Support accounting and reporting for acquisitions, investments, restructuring and other group transactions.
• Identify opportunities to improve the month-end closing and reporting process.

Candidate Profile

• CA / CA Inter / equivalent qualification.
• 47 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, controllership, consolidation or audit.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience in group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills.
• Experience in a startup, D2C, healthcare, consumer or technology business will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
