- Manage marketplace / payment-gateway reconciliations and TCS compliance relevant to Retail and Internet businesses.
4. Financial Reporting and MIS:
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow statements with variance analysis.
- Track unit economics, gross margins, working capital and category-level profitability.
- Build dashboards and periodic finance reviews for the leadership team and investors.
5. Budgeting, Cash and Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning; monitor burn and runway.
- Manage banking relationships, payments, collections and working-capital cycles with vendors and customers.
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Category and Tech teams to support pricing, commercial terms and process automation.
Key KPIs:
- Timely monthly book closure (within defined close calendar).
- Accuracy of financial statements and MIS; zero material audit observations.
- 100% on-time statutory filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC) with no penalties.
- Reconciliation coverage and ageing of open items (bank, vendor, customer, marketplace).
