Role Description The Finance Intern role at Protrainy is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The intern will support the finance team with daily tasks such as preparing and updating financial records, assisting in the analysis of financial data, and helping with the creation and review of financial statements. Responsibilities include supporting basic accounting entries, tracking expenses and revenue, and assisting with budget monitoring and variance analysis. The intern will also help in generating financial reports, coordinating with other departments for data collection, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to finance operations within a dynamic start-up environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret Financial Statements.
• Candidates should possess solid Accounting skills, including basic bookkeeping and familiarity with accounting principles.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with team members.
• Pursuing or having a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software tools (e.g., MS Excel) is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment are important.
• Previous internship or project experience in finance or accounting is an advantage but not mandatory.
