About this role
What you will own
- Financial control. Management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and the monthly close for the Sav-Money entity.

- Regulatory reporting. Periodic returns to the central bank, audit coordination, and the finance workstream behind the e-money licence and any subsequent credit licence.
- Treasury and liquidity. Agent float funding, settlement cycles, working capital and cash forecasting across a high-velocity, low-ticket transaction base.
- Loan book accounting. IFRS 9 expected credit loss modelling, provisioning policy, staging, write-off and recovery accounting as the lending business scales.
- Transaction taxation. Statutory levies on transactions, excise on service fees and withholding on agent commissions computed at source, reconciled and remitted accurately.
- Team and systems. Building the finance, control and reporting function, and specifying what finance needs from the platform rather than reconciling around its gaps.
