About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Executive to support day-to-day accounting and finance operations, with a strong focus on project expense management, freelancer/vendor payments, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, verifying project-related transactions, coordinating with internal teams and freelancers, and ensuring timely completion of finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Project File & Expense Settlement: Review project expenses, verify supporting documents, reconcile advances, and ensure timely project file closure.

• Bank & Cash Book Entries: Record and maintain accurate daily bank and cash transactions in the accounting system.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.
• Freelancer Payment Verification: Verify freelancer payment sheets against project/raw data, check calculations and supporting details, and ensure payment accuracy.
• Freelancer Onboarding: Manage freelancer onboarding, verify required documents and bank details, and create/maintain freelancer accounts and master data.
• Finance Coordination & Controls: Coordinate with internal teams for pending documents/data and ensure compliance with defined finance processes and timelines.
• TDS Compliance: Calculate and deduct applicable TDS on vendor/freelancer payments, maintain TDS records.
• GST-related Activities: GST Invoice and input tax verification, GST reconciliation etc.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in B.Com (Hons.) or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
• Experience – 3+ yrs
• Good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting entries, bank reconciliation, and financial documentation.
• Working knowledge of TDS, GST and basic tax computation.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including data handling, reconciliation, and basic formulas.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with freelancers, vendors, and internal team
