Finance Executive

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Compliance Assistant to support finance operations, management reporting, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and documentation management. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across departments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting

• Assist in maintaining accounting records and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and reconcile bank and intercompany accounts.
• Compile and analyze financial data for management review.
• Maintain reporting templates and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain statutory records and compliance trackers.
• Assist in ensuring timely filing of regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Organize and maintain finance-related agreements, licenses, tax documents, and corporate records.
• Monitor compliance deadlines and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in KYC, bank account documentation, and corporate secretarial requirements.

Audit Support

• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Track audit queries and ensure timely closure.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.

Administrative Support

• Maintain finance department filing systems and document repositories.
• Schedule meetings and follow up on finance-related action items.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or compliance functions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
• Experience with Tally ERP/accounting software.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely completion of accounting reconciliation of investment dashboards..
• Accuracy of financial data and reconciliations.
• Compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Timely closure of audit requirements.
• Proper maintenance of documentation and records.
• Support in improving finance processes and controls.

Preferred Experience: Experience in multi-country accounting, compliance coordination, audit support, and finance MIS reporting would be an added advantage.
