Job Summary

As a Finance Executive, at Datum Advanced Composites, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing various finance and accounting functions, providing crucial insights to support strategic decision-making, and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. You will report directly to the Head of Business Support. The role is Full-time and Permanent. You will be part of the Business Support job family in our Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Requirements

• Previous experience or internship in finance or accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial analysis tools.
• Interest in the composites manufacturing industry and business growth initiatives.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong interest in finance and accounting, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintaining the general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to understand the company's financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with cost analysis, pricing strategies, and financial decision-making.
• Help monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Support in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance department and assist in implementing best practices.
