Financial Services Executive - Operations & Client Servicing

About the Role

We are looking for a smart, organised and proactive Financial Services Executive to join our growing financial services business.

The role will involve a combination of mutual fund and insurance operations, client servicing, financial transactions, documentation, communication and general business support. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of financial products, excellent communication skills and be comfortable using technology and AI tools to work efficiently.

This is a hands-on, non-routine role where the candidate will be expected to take ownership of tasks, coordinate with clients and service providers, and manage multiple responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Mutual Fund & Investment Operations

• Initiate and process mutual fund transactions through NSE and other relevant platforms
• Handle purchase, redemption, switch, SIP and other investment transactions
• Assist with KYC, account opening, FATCA, documentation and related processes
• Coordinate with AMCs, RTAs, NSE and other platforms for transaction and service-related requirements
• Track pending transactions and ensure timely completion
• Maintain accurate client and transaction records

Insurance Operations

• Assist with new insurance business, policy servicing and renewals
• Coordinate documentation and service requests with insurance companies
• Track policy renewals, pending requirements and client requests
• Maintain organised records of policies and related documentation

Client Servicing

• Communicate with clients through phone, WhatsApp and email regarding transactions, documentation and service requirements
• Respond to routine client queries professionally and efficiently
• Coordinate client meetings and follow-ups
• Occasionally accompany or visit clients for documentation, servicing or other requirements
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients

Technology & Business Support

• Maintain Excel/Google Sheets, digital records and databases
• Use online financial platforms, CRM tools and other business applications
• Effectively use AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, drafting, analysis, communication and improving day-to-day productivity
• Conduct online research and gather financial/product-related information when required
• Assist with occasional flight, hotel and other travel bookings
• Handle other operational and administrative responsibilities as required

• Reliable, responsible and discreet when handling client information
• Ambitious, self-motivated and entrepreneurial

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in B.Com, BBA, Finance, Economics or a related field
• 1-4 years of experience in mutual funds, insurance, banking, wealth management, financial services or a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with NSE mutual fund transactions, AMC/RTA portals, KYC processes and insurance platforms will be an advantage
• Candidates with strong financial knowledge and excellent communication skills may also be considered even without direct industry experience

This is primarily an operations and client servicing role, not a pure sales role.

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across finance, technology, people and business operations and wants to develop a broad understanding of the financial services industry.
