Finance Executive - Cost Accountant (CMA)

Role & responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Controller in month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow statements
• Prepare product costing, cost sheets and inventory valuation, and support cost audit requirements
• Carry out variance analysis (budget vs. actual, standard vs. actual) and cost-benefit analysis to support management decisions
• Prepare detailed MIS reports and build and maintain Excel dashboards and automated trackers to monitor financial health and KPIs
• Perform General Ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations, and ensure accurate recording of daily transactions
• Prepare audit schedules, resolve auditor queries, and support statutory compliances such as TDS, GST and corporate tax filings
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data

Preferred candidate profile

• CMA (Inter / Final / Dropout) preferred; CA Inter / CA Dropout or M.Com also considered
• 3-6 years in accounts finalization, costing and MIS, preferably in manufacturing
• Expert in Advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Index-Match, dashboards)
• Knowledge of GL reconciliation, TDS, GST and Ind AS
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Quick learner on ERP/accounting software
