Finance Controllership

Position: Manager General Ledger, Audit & Financial Reporting •

Role purpose

Own the general ledger and the month-end close, prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements under Ind AS, and act as the single point of coordination for all audits.

General Ledger

• Review the GL periodically and pass corrective entries before close
• Ensure accurate and timely closure of books of accounts
• Review the trial balance, P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Review periodical standalone and consolidated financial statements in line with Ind AS and Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013
• Support preparation of MIS, variance analysis and management reports
• Coordinate with auditors for timely and smooth completion of quarterly and annual audits
• Support internal audits, tax audit and grant audits
• Prepare audit committee reports

Audit & Compliance

• Lead coordination for, statutory, tax and regulatory audits
• Ensure timely preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor queries
• Drive closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions
• Maintain strong internal controls and supporting documentation

Candidate requirements

• Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience
• Working knowledge of Ind AS, Schedule III and the Companies Act, 2013; exposure to consolidation of multiple entities
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite) and advanced Excel
• Experience managing statutory and internal audit cycles end to end
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to review the work of junior accountants.
