Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to manage financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, working capital, inventory accounting and financial controls for Nigeria operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting, monthly closing, P&L, Balance Sheet and financial reporting.
• Handle bank, supplier, customer, employee and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage supplier advances, payables, receivables, inventory and working capital.
• Reconcile procurement, inventory and accounting records with Operations and Procurement teams.
• Monitor cash flow, Opex and budget vs. actuals; identify and escalate variances.
• Ensure statutory compliance, audit readiness and proper financial documentation.
• Support procurement cost accounting and financial-control processes.
• Provide regular financial and working-capital reports to Group Finance.

Candidate Profile:

• 10-12 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Mandatory: Current location in Nigeria.
• Mandatory: Experience in Agro Commodity Trading industry.
• CA / ACCA / ICAN or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong experience in inventory accounting, supplier advances, reconciliations and working-capital management.
• Strong Excel and ERP/accounting-system skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with international/Group Finance teams.
