Finance Controller

Role & responsibilities

To lead Finance & Accounts for the Telecom Products & Services business, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance. The role will drive business partnering for project-based services, including bid management and cost control. It will establish systems and processes for service operations to enable profitable growth.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Financial Planning & MIS Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial MIS for management review.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives.

2. Receivables, Payables & Cash Flow Management

• Ensure timely accounting and reconciliation of receivables and payables.
• Implement controls to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize overdue receivables.

3. Service Business Process Setup & Internal Controls

• Design and implement systems for project-based service operations, including billing and cost tracking.
• Establish internal control mechanisms to ensure compliance and prevent revenue leakage.

4. Bid Submission & Commercial Evaluation

• Oversee financial aspects of bid submissions, including cost estimation and pricing strategy.
• Ensure accurate documentation and risk assessment for all commercial proposals.

5. Budget vs. Actual Tracking & Variance Analysis

• Monitor project financial performance against approved budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
