Finance Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Month-End Closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management and the Board.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Companies Act, Global Compliance (UK, Russia, US, Singapore).
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Establish and strengthen financial controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and risk management practices.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships.
• Optimize working capital and oversee fund management.
• Manage banking operations, investments, and debt obligations.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and commercial support.
• Evaluate pricing strategies, business cases, and investment opportunities.
• Support profitability analysis at business unit, product, and client levels.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance Accounts team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Qualified CA
• 10+ years of experience
• Experience in a listed company with exposure to board reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with financial audits, investor reporting, and statutory filings.
• Proven ability to drive finance transformation and automation initiatives.
• Experience leading high-performing finance teams and partnering with senior leadership.
