Finance Controller and Business Partner

Job Summary

Role Summary: Act as a finance controller to the business and be a Finance Partner for PSO team, collaborating closely to understand operations, challenges, and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure robust accounting, financial reporting, and balance sheet governance in line with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
• Partner with PSO team to enable data-driven business decisions and performance management.
• Lead analysis of procurement, manufacturing, freight costs, and product profitability to drive margin enhancement.
• Lead statutory audit coordination, facilitate timely audit completion, and ensure closure of audit observations and compliance requirements.
• Deliver actionable financial insights to stakeholders and drive execution of agreed business actions.

Experience and Leadership Competencies

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or D2C/start-up environment.
• Qualified CA (First Attempt preferred).
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Prior experience in finance business partnering with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Commercial teams.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint) is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Team and Structure

This role will report to the CFO Godrej Pet Care unit within Godrej Consumer Products.
