Job Description: Consultant Finance

Qualification & Experience

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• CA qualification and experience in Government, PSUs, or autonomous bodies are desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Support budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and fund management.
• Process financial transactions, fund releases, and approvals through PFMS.
• Review Utilization Certificates (UCs), Statements of Expenditure (SoEs), bills, and invoices.
• Manage financial reporting, reconciliation, and MIS documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GFR, government financial rules, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with implementing agencies, finance departments, and auditors.

Mandatory Skills

• Knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, PFMS, DBT, and government financial procedures.
• Experience in BE/RE, UCs, SoEs, financial reconciliation, and audit compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, financial MIS, and accounting/ERP software.
