Finance and Operations Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Executive to support our day-to-day finance and business operations.

The role includes customer payment updates, payment follow-ups, vendor payments, banking activities, accounting updates, subscription payments, procurement and asset-related activities.

This is a good opportunity for a fresher who wants hands-on exposure to finance and operations in a technology company.

The role reports to the Finance Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Update customer payments against invoices in accounting software.
• Follow up directly with customers for pending payments.
• Support vendor bill and payment processing.
• Initiate vendor and other company payments after verification.
• Support TDS payment activities.
• Update payment and transaction records accurately.
• Support customer payout and refund processing.
• Download and maintain reports from payment gateways and vendor portals.
• Handle routine SaaS, cloud and other subscription payments.
• Coordinate with banks for operational and KYC requirements.
• Visit banks for KYC, document submission and other banking requirements.
• Purchase laptops, MacBooks, monitors, cables, IT accessories and other equipment locally when required.
• Handle office supplies and other operational purchases.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and operational requirements.
• Handle physical asset pickup, delivery, replacement and returns.
• Collect and maintain invoices, bills and supporting documents.
• Support the Finance Operations Manager with day-to-day finance and operational activities.
• Final payment approvals are handled by the Directors.

Requirements

• B.Com or BBA.
• Freshers are welcome and preferred; candidates with up to 2 years of experience can also apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance.
• Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets.
• Willing to learn Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Comfortable speaking with customers and vendors over phone and email.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Comfortable using online banking, payment portals and business software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned work.
• Ability to follow up on tasks until completion.

Nature of the Role

This is an office-based finance and operations role and is not a 100% desk-based accounting position.

The role includes:

• Visiting banks for KYC/document-related work.
• Purchasing laptops, IT equipment and accessories locally.
• Coordinating with vendors.
• Handling physical asset pickup, delivery, replacement and returns.
• Purchasing office supplies and other operational requirements.
• Making local visits for other company operational requirements when needed.

Candidates should be comfortable handling both desk-based finance activities and outside operational work as part of the role.
