About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Filter Sales Specialist to drive the sales and application of advanced Ceramic Filter Products within the foundry and metal casting industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong foundry background who is passionate about helping customers improve casting quality, productivity, and yield through innovative filtration technologies.
The successful candidate will work closely with foundries across India, providing both commercial and technical support while developing long-term customer relationships and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive sales growth of Ceramic Filter Products across assigned territories.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support.
• Deliver technical support including:
o Filter selection and implementation
o Casting process optimisation
o Runner and gating system design
o Casting quality improvement initiatives
• Prepare and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
• Work closely with foundry customers to increase casting yield, productivity, and product quality.
• Identify and promote innovative filtration and feeding solutions that add value to customer operations.
• Manage customer enquiries, technical discussions, quotations, and market-related activities.
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
• 4-5 years experience within foundry operations, casting processes, metallurgy, or refractory materials industries.
• Strong understanding of casting methodologies and foundry practices.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer engagement skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, casting drawings, and runner system layouts.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Experience with:
o Casting design
o Runner and gating system design
o Ceramic filter implementation
o Casting engineering
o Production or process improvement projects
• Knowledge of casting simulation software would be a significant advantage.
• Practical foundry experience in:
o Process engineering
o Tooling design
o Flow control systems
o Yield improvement projects
o Manufacturing optimisation
• Passion for introducing new technologies and supporting customers in the transition from conventional runner systems to direct pour solutions.
