About this role
- Run equipment: Operate the automatic or semi-automatic bottling line to fill glass or plastic bottles with the right amount of IMFL liquid without spilling.
- Startup and setup: Ensure the filling and sealing units ready before starting the shift as per SOP.
- Sealing & Capping: Feed caps, corks, or ROPP (Roll-On Proof-Perforated) caps into the sealing machine and make sure bottles close tightly to stop leaks.
- Line changeovers: Change machine settings and parts when switching to a different bottle size or brand product.
- Maintenance and Safety: Clean & Sanitize: Wash and clean the filling area and machines at the end of every run to keep the line hygienic.
- Safety Rules: Follow safety rules and use PPE on the shop floor.
- Quality Control and Inspection: Check fill levels- Measure and test liquid levels in bottles to avoid underfilling or overfilling.
- Removed bad items: Take broken, leaking, or wrongly sealed bottles off the line immediately.
