Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and technically inclined Field Network Engineer Trainees to join our Network Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The selected candidates will be responsible for field-level network support, fault management, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and restoration of network services across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform network fault identification, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support as part of O&M activities.
• Visit customer/project sites for network installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Monitor and resolve network connectivity and equipment-related issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, modems, optical fiber, and network connectivity.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and follow up until resolution.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine health checks of network infrastructure.
• Maintain proper records of faults, site visits, equipment status, and resolution details.
• Coordinate with customers, field teams, service providers, and senior technical personnel.
• Ensure timely closure of assigned complaints/tickets within defined timelines.
• Follow company/project SOPs, safety guidelines, and reporting procedures.
• Be willing to travel within the assigned district and nearby project locations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Laptop Mandatory.
• Two-wheeler/Bike Mandatory.
• Valid Driving Licence is preferred/required for field movement.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in field locations and travel within the assigned district.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in an O&M / field support environment.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, IP Addressing, DNS and DHCP.
• Basic knowledge of Routers, Switches, Modems and Network Devices.
• Basic understanding of Fiber Optics and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of Ping, Traceroute, IP configuration and basic network troubleshooting.
• CCNA certification / networking certification will be an added advantage.
