Field Service Engineer

Experience: 3 to 7 years

Major Objective/ Role of Position: Post tender activity i.e. follows up & discussion with Stores, Finance and Technical officials of Indian Railway

Main Tasks: 1. Installation, commissioning & testing of supplies. 2. Preparing joint inspection report & Inspection check sheet. 3. Onsite warranty repair & testing of DV & other KB products. 4. Communicate with customer for MA/DP. 5. Payment collection. 6. Submission of SD money. 7. Timely execution of PO. 8. Submission of BQ to generate the spare business.

Professional Competency Required: 1. Familiarity with Railway product / business 2. Good working knowledge on MS office tools especially Excel & Power Point Handling of AMC proposal, PO & Invoice.

Social Competency Required: 1. Customer Orientation – Understand Customer need & respond well in time with the status & progress update 2. Good communication skills – Comprehends properly & present information in logical manner with the focus on key issues 3. Proper presentation & etiquettes 4. Good negotiation skills 5. Good Interpersonal skills 6. Reliability – Excellence in Planning & Execution for performance 7. Good analytical ability – Comprehends data, use advanced tools for analysis & concludes for definite action
