Job Summary At Repos, were looking for a dedicated problem-solver who can ensure our energy solutions work seamlessly on the ground. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our operations. You will ensure the smooth functioning, timely maintenance, and troubleshooting of RFS units and related equipment, ensuring our partners receive uninterrupted and reliable energy solutions. This role goes beyond maintenance- it about delivering technical excellence, building trust, and ensuring operational reliability and customer confidence.
Responsibilities - Installation and Commissioning: Carry out installation and commissioning of RFS units and related equipment at partner sites. Ensure proper setup, calibration, and demonstration of functionality.
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Partner Support: Act as the on-ground technical point of contact for partners. Provide clear explanations, demonstrations, and guidance for safe and efficient usage.
- Technical Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed service records, technical reports, and logs of activities. Provide timely feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
- Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety standards during installation and servicing. Train partners and operators on proper usage and safety protocols.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for partner interaction.
- Hands-on mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle on-field challenges with calmness and professionalism.
- Experience: 0-7 years in field service, technical support, or maintenance roles.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant engineering field.
- Passion for technology, operations, and solving real-world technical challenges.
