Field Service Engineer

Profile: Engineer/Sr Engineer Location: Kolkata Employment type: Permanent Experience: 2 - 3 years

CTC: As per Industry standard

Desired Skills and Experience:

• B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical background with experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, and after-market sales (including AMC).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and product manuals.
• Good English communication skills; smart and presentable.
• Candidates with an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) background will be preferred.

Job Description:

• Extensive travel required (approximately 1520 days per month) to various sites for pre- and post-order site surveys, installation, commissioning, and servicing of large thermal power plant boiler instruments, including wired and wireless devices.
• Supervise site personnel during installation and servicing activities and ensure timely completion of all E&C activities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure smooth project execution.
• Handle back-office activities such as offer preparation, customer follow-ups for timely payments, and coordination with branches.
