Field Sales Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for notebooks and stationery products in the assigned territory.

• Visit dealers, distributors, wholesalers, stationery retailers and institutions as per the daily beat plan.

• Develop new retail outlets and B2B accounts, and grow business from existing customers.

• Take orders, communicate with your superiors, ensure follow up of timely dispatch

• Collect outstanding payments from the market within agreed credit terms.

• Ensure product availability, visibility and merchandising at outlets.

• Share product range, schemes and pricing with customers, and gather market and competitor feedback.

• Record visits, orders and market information daily in the company's sales app or reporting system.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-4 years of field sales experience in stationery, FMCG, paper, books or a similar consumer product (freshers with strong field aptitude may be considered).

• Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA preferred).

• Good knowledge of the local market, dealer and retailer network in the assigned territory.

• Fluent in Malayalam and basic English; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable with daily travel.

• Basic proficiency with smartphone apps, order-taking apps and MS Excel.

• Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence are mandatory.
