Field Sales Engineer

Role Description The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting SolidCAM and GREABERT ARES solutions to existing and prospective customers in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, on-site role involving regular client visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and follow-ups to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. The role includes managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, preparing proposals and quotations, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. The Field Sales Engineer will collaborate with technical and support teams to address customer queries, assist with pre-sales and post-sales activities, and contribute to sales forecasts and reporting. The position also involves staying updated on product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position Cadvin's solutions in the market.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Sales Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Sales and Sales Management, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Candidates should possess skills in Account Management, with experience in maintaining long-term customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Relevant experience selling engineering software, CAD/CAM tools, or industrial/technical products is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, or related field) or a comparable technical discipline is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with engineering and management stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SolidCAM, SOLIDWORKS, or similar CAD/CAM software, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
