Field Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with 1-5 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Electrical Products, or Technical B2B Sales.

The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, handling existing clients, understanding technical requirements, recommending suitable products, preparing quotations, following up on enquiries, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business leads through calls, emails, references, and market visits.

Develop and maintain relationships with industrial customers.

Visit customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements.

Understand customer applications and suggest suitable automation/electrical products.

Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations.

Follow up regularly on enquiries and quotations.

Negotiate pricing, delivery, payment terms, and other commercial requirements.

Convert enquiries into orders and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Coordinate with the technical, purchase, and service teams for customer requirements.

Handle existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.

Maintain customer information, enquiry status, and follow-up details in CRM/Excel.

Track competitors, market trends, and new business opportunities.

Provide product presentations and technical explanations to customers.

Support customers before and after sales.

Ensure timely communication regarding orders, deliveries, and technical queries.

Mandatory Requirement

Own two/four-wheeler is mandatory.

Valid Driving License is required.

Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development is essential.
