Field Sales Engineer - Food & Agriculture (F&A)

Job Purpose

• Drive sales growth and increase market share in the Food & Agribusiness industry.
• Develop opportunities with key OEMs and end users.
• Support the sales team in winning strategic projects and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer challenges and recommend suitable ifm solutions.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
• Support sales engineers on high-potential opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and application discussions.
• Collaborate with global industry and product management teams.
• Track industry trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Support onboarding and training of new sales engineers.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in sales of automation or process products within the F&A industry.
• Strong understanding of F&B processes, automation, and process control technologies.
• Proven ability to develop key accounts and generate new business.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Maintenance teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
