Job Summary

We are looking for a Field / Plant Operator to support day-to-day plant operations, monitor process parameters, ensure safe and efficient production, and maintain compliance with plant safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment and processes as per approved SOPs and production instructions.
• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, and batch conditions.
• Conduct field rounds and report abnormalities, process deviations, or unsafe conditions.
• Support charging, unloading, sampling, filtration, distillation, and other plant operations as required.
• Coordinate with DCS/Control Room Operators and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
• Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and use required PPE during operations.
• Maintain shift logs, batch records, and operational documentation.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with plant safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in production plant operations.
• Experience in chemical, agrochemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of plant operations and basic chemical process handling.
• Understanding of SOPs, process safety, and permit-to-work systems.
• Ability to monitor and accurately record process parameters.
• Basic troubleshooting and coordination skills.
• Awareness of EHS, housekeeping, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
