Field Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Deployment: Perform hands-on configuration, installation, and deployment of Nokia and Cisco networking devices, with a strong preference for the Nokia 7250 series, 7210-SAS, and DWDM 1830 PSS-8.
• Good Knowledge about Fibre and pluggable modules (10G/100G SFPs, QSFPs optical / electrical).
• Network Integration: Conduct integration and acceptance testing (AT) in alignment with customer specifications.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with NOC resources to successfully deploy new routers, switches, and DWDM equipment.
• Incident & Escalation Management: Coordinate with L2 technical support teams to resolve and escalate critical, high-impact network issues efficiently.
• Customer Relations: Serve as the primary on-site technical point of contact, ensuring seamless communication and reporting with end customers.
• Field Operations: Execute on-site troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, and maintenance routines. Willingness to travel extensively based on site requirements is essential.
• Reporting : Daily plan and progress report to share with team.
