Female Senior Counsellor

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Counsellor who can independently manage student counselling, understand their career goals and requirements, and provide the right course guidance. The role focuses on quality counselling, relationship building and helping students make informed career decisions rather than aggressive sales.

• Handle prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, chats, meetings and walk-ins.
• Understand students' career goals, educational background and requirements.
• Recommend suitable courses based on the student's profile and career objectives.
• Provide consultative counselling and address queries, concerns and objections professionally.
• Maintain systematic follow-ups and updated records in the CRM.
• Build long-term relationships with prospective students and ensure a smooth counselling experience.
• Handle complex counselling cases independently.
• Guide and support Junior Counsellors whenever required.
• Focus on quality conversions through genuine counselling, without aggressive sales pressure.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2+ years of experience in Admission Counselling, Career Counselling, Education Sales, EdTech or Inside Sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong counselling and objection-handling abilities.
• Confident, empathetic and professional approach.
• Good understanding of customer/student needs.
• Ability to independently manage leads and follow-ups.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior counsellors will be an advantage.
