About this role
- Prepare and develop 3D models of cranes and structural components required for CE-LIFE analysis.
- Perform FEA analysis using Solid Edge and interpret analysis results.
- Prepare and maintain FEA analysis details and calculation sheets in Excel.
- Carry out RLA (Remaining Life Assessment) calculations as per applicable engineering requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive FEA + RLA technical reports for customer submission.
- Develop standardized templates for site data collection, measurements, calculations and analysis.
- Review technical information and dimensions collected during site visits and incorporate them into engineering calculations/models.
- Coordinate with CFT members for technical review and validation of reports before customer submission.
- Participate in customer technical discussions and explain analysis methodology, findings and recommendations.
- Support site visits, wherever required, for data collection, measurements and technical assessment.
- Maintain proper documentation of models, calculations, analysis results, reports and customer inputs.
- Identify opportunities for standardization and improvement of CE-LIFE analysis processes and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and timely completion of assigned CE-LIFE reports.
