Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Faculty role based at the JD Institute of Fashion Technology campus in Hyderabad. The Fashion Faculty member will expertise in textile science, fashion merchansing, Fashion Marketing & Management, Research Methodology and deliver lectures, studio classes, and practical workshops across fashion design and related disciplines, following the institute's curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, demonstrating design techniques, guiding students through projects and portfolios, and providing constructive feedback and academic mentoring. The role also involves evaluating student performance, maintaining academic records, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to academic events such as juries, exhibitions, and seminars. Collaboration with industry partners, support for student internships and placements, and active participation in institute initiatives and faculty meetings are integral to this position.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Fashion Design/Textiles/Apparel

• Strong subject knowledge and practical skills

• Good communication and mentoring abilities

• Prior teaching/industry experience preferred
