EXECUTIVE - QA/QC -Stitching Production
Education: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology or Apparel Production.
Experience: 3-7 years managing stitching line quality in ethnic wear.
Expertise: Pattern-matching, garment construction, and natural fabric behavior.
Skills: Expert in AQL, fit analysis, and stitching defect correction
Quality Assurance (Processes)
Establish SOPs for tailoring, assembly lines, and final finishing.
Set inline and end-line AQL standards for garment construction.
Standardize pattern-matching protocols for block-printed fabrics during cutting.
Map shrinkage allowances to ensure accurate post-wash fits.
Train tailors, line checkers, and finishers on defect criteria.
Quality Control (Inspections)
Audit cutting room layers for alignment and pattern direction.
Conduct inline checks for stitch density (SPI), tension, and puckering.
Verify measurement specs against tech packs before and after washing.
Perform 100% final inspection on garment tailoring, drapes, and trims.
Check final finishing, ironing, thread trimming, and tag compliance.
