Role Description The Fashion Design Trainer will deliver classroom and studio-based instruction to fashion design students, guiding them through fundamental and advanced concepts in design, illustration, textiles, pattern making, and garment construction. This full-time, on-site role in Nagercoil involves planning and conducting lessons, supervising practical projects, organizing workshops, and providing constructive feedback on student work. The trainer will develop and update course materials, demonstrate industry techniques and best practices, and mentor students on portfolios and career readiness. The role also includes collaborating with the academic team to maintain training quality, participating in events and exhibitions, and ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications

• Competence in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design for fashion design programs.
• Strong Teaching and Training skills, with experience delivering practical, hands-on sessions.
• Relevant fashion design industry experience, including pattern making, garment construction, and fashion illustration.
• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Effective communication and classroom management skills, with a learner-centered approach.
• Proficiency in using design tools or software commonly employed in the fashion industry is an advantage.
• Ability to mentor diverse learners, encourage creativity, and align training with current industry trends.
