Fares Team Leader ( Airline Distribution & Optimization )

Brightsun Travel is looking for an experienced Fares Team Leader who has strong knowledge of airline fares, GDS systems, fare distribution and NDC. The candidate will manage the fares team and ensure correct and efficient distribution of airline fares across different markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fares Operations team of 3 or more members.
• Manage airline fares and fare distribution across different markets and points of sale.
• Handle Net Fare Manager / Selling Fare Manager and manage fare loading and distribution.
• Work with different fare types such as ITX, negotiated, private, corporate and promotional fares.
• Manage and work confidently on Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport.
• Handle NDC content and airline distribution.
• Monitor fare accuracy, pricing and availability.
• Work on caching and filtering to improve search performance and reduce unnecessary queries.
• Monitor and improve Look-to-Book (L2B) performance.
• Have good knowledge of airline fare rules, ticketing and travel industry processes.
• Coordinate with the Marketing team to identify special airline offers and support their promotion.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth fare distribution and timely resolution of issues.
• Analyse fare and distribution data and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Airline Distribution, Fares, Fare Filing or GDS Operations.
• Minimum 3+ years of team-handling experience or experience managing a team of 3 or more members.
• Strong hands-on experience with Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport.
• Good knowledge of Net Fare Manager / Selling Fare Manager.
• Strong understanding of ITX, private, negotiated, corporate and promotional fares.
• Good understanding of NDC and airline APIs.
• Experience with caching, filtering and Look-to-Book optimization.
• Strong knowledge of airline fare rules and ticketing.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work with Marketing and other internal teams.
