Factory Manager

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Engineering. CIPET qualification preferred; a management qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience: 10-15 years in plastics conversion, including a similar managerial role in a reputed company producing not less than 1,000 tonnes per month.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of polymers and their applications in multilayer blown film extrusion and downstream processes is essential.
• Lead the product development team in formulation development and packaging solutions.
• Deliver cost savings through new-generation polymers, formulation optimisation and downgauging while maintaining product performance.
• Strong operational knowledge of printing, slitting and bag making; injection moulding and PET preform experience will be an advantage.
• Lead production, maintenance, quality and technical teams.
• Achieve monthly production targets and KPIs, improve productivity, control scrap and ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage manpower, material utilisation and operating costs.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 systems.
